Lugna began with a simple idea: to create small moments of calm in everyday life.

I’ve always been drawn to slow living — quiet mornings, soft light, the feeling of coming home after a long day and finally being able to switch off. But I often found that the products around me didn’t quite capture that feeling. They were either overpowering, overly decorative, or just didn’t feel considered.

So I started making my own.

What began as a personal ritual, experimenting with wax, scent, and atmosphere, it became something more. I fell in love with the process of creating fragrances that feel subtle, grounding, and intentional. Scents that don’t demand attention, but gently shape a space.

Lugna, which means “to make someone calm” in Swedish, is built around that idea.

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using natural soy wax and wooden wicks, chosen for their soft, crackling burn and warm, ambient glow. Every scent is designed to evoke a feeling — whether it’s a quiet winter evening, a slow Sunday morning, or the stillness of a familiar space.

But more than anything, Lugna is about creating pause.
